LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION |
August 10, 2006 To Whom It May Concern, I am proud to say that I acted as Lindsey’s supervisor during her employment with Santa Barbara Applied Research, Inc (SBAR). Her dedication to, and thorough knowledge of, her profession, her quick wit, her fabulous sense of humor, her easy manor and her sheer intelligence are all hallmarks of Lindsey’s employment here at SBAR. Her ability to implement, and improve on, design work developed in a team environment made her contributions essential to the functioning of the graphics department. She has the unique ability to share her ideas, in a group environment, in a way that is clearly spoken, intelligent and completely disarming. She holds strong and very logical convictions about the way things should be done, but has never once had a problem in performing her tasks in the best interest of the project, as dictated by the team or the customer, even if those requirements should happen to conflict with her ideas, though they seldom do. I would also like this opportunity to say that Lindsey’s tolerance of ever changing requirements is unparalleled in my experience; she is possessed with a very positive energy. It is with deep regret that I write this letter, because it means that Lindsey has chosen to pursue greener pastures, and I have lost a valuable member of my team. If Lindsey is there with you now, take my advice and hire her immediately. I guarantee that you will not ever regret that decision. Aside from the fact that Lindsey is an exceptionally talented graphic artist and 3D animator, she is also a very delightful person to have in your company. Her contribution will have no measure, both personally and professionally. I recommend to you, also, that you do not hesitate; because, without a doubt, she is not someone you would want working for your competitors. Sincerely, Blake J. Monson |

August 10,2006 Dear Sir or Madam, As Lindsey’s Supervisor, it gives me great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation. Lindsey’s talent for creating high quality graphics and animations has continually given our training software a professional and polished touch. She is very knowledgeable and experienced with many of the industries leading graphics software. Moreover, Lindsey is a team player and will go the extra mile when called upon. Given the opportunity, she would definitely be an asset to any company that hires her. If she ever relocates back to our area, I would definitely be interested in having her back with our company. Sincerely, Debra Ramey |

Also helped develop and author the piece, which eventually totaled more than 1000 screens of information. Process IMI's – Canister Handling, Sim Mode, and Power Distribution were all Interactive Multimedia Instruction programs, built by MCA to supplement an existing program made by another contractor. Created most of the graphics for these programs, including the interactive schematics. Also oversaw the graphic work of the interns in this period. NSWC Orientation – Responsible for the port of this product to the web, creating and authoring most of the HTML to comply with the US Government 508 standard as well as customer requirements.
